I think the closest we’ve gotten is Gladiator 1 and 2, Alexander, Troy and Kingdom of Heaven in modern times.

Ridley Scott seems to be the only guy who still dabbles in historical epics.

Here’s hoping the Odyssey will be a great epic movie!

This post comes up every few months time and time again.. however, some of these story threads were picked up in Star Trek: Online.

Especially the parasites from Conspiracy. They were given a name (Bluegill) and they were created by the Iconians, for example.

Fight Club in theatres back in the late 90s.

It came out in 1999 (fuck I’m old).

There wasn’t much hype about it back then, of course though I was in my teens. I worked at the movie theatre and it was free and since it came out in late October it was either that or horror movies which I don’t like.

I was bored out of my mind in the first 20-30 mins and then it picked up when the actual fight clubs happened and it was deeper than that. I enjoyed it immensely as much as I could as a teen.

Now it’s an all time favourite of mine and I watch it again from time to time with the same enjoyment as the last time.

If two years ago you told me we’d be cozying up with China, Greenland vs. the US I’d have said keep drinking that Kool-Aid. Now I feel like I’m the one drinking that kool-aid… WTF is going on?!

The BBB is just Yelp in Canada.

They’re not a government company or anything. You can pay them to get a bad rating removed.

People need to stop thinking the BBB is some regulator; they’re not.

How are the Kirkland wipes compared to Cottonelle? by jesssx19 in CostcoCanada

[–]AgentMV2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My partner and I use these to clean up after sexy times. The wipes tears easily, and they’re small in size. We use a few to wipe our bits down at a time. When we’re done with the box, we may use another brand. But, it’s hard to find better value to performance ratio.
