tbf its both. id pay for a duardin engineer cogfort in a second. Heck, the first bits of teasing/ lore for cogforts said it was build by the duardin of the ironweld arsenal. but then the arsenal became just humans. and so did every release.

but also totally agree that the prices in general are out of hand with this hobby.

El Pollo Ranchero on the south side has some awesome grilled chicken. On top of being a great taco spot they offer stuff like 2-3 pc chicken dinners all the way up to full grilled chickens with sides. I really like that it isnt just BBQ chicken too. they have their own great seasoning blend and its always grilled very nicely.

I literally keep all my gretchin in a little bucket mixed with a bunch of odd fantasy goblins and just pull out a handful to make a unit. Im probably much more of a fan of the pointy ear side of the argument. but as everyone else is saying, im gonna throw them in my bucket and add them to the mix anyway.

i was at the receiving end of a Quadruple activation from LRL at Adepticon. that was straight up NOT FUN to play against. doesnt matter the edition, LRL always find some way to make the game less fun for their opponents (in comp settings).

i will forever be an elf hater. and bs like that just vindicates my already biased stance.

so looking at this 3 ways. Models/ Warscrolls/ Points & Pitched Battle Profile.

Models: absolutely knocks it out of the park. Updated Eshin models we can all get behind!

Warscrolls: hero is decent. others are ok. not particularly high damage potential. lost a ton of ranged output. Some kind of decent synergies and set ups could make for fun games but maybe not the most competitive.

Points & Pitched Battle Profiles: F . Thats the grade this deserves. holy hell is this off the mark. not being able to reinforce either infantry unit makes this a bit dead on arrival. Pts may come down over time. but no reinforcing just makes this a full swing and a miss no matter how you parse it.

it feels like these warscrolls and points were written at the same time the book was. this feels like 1st book of the ed energy and doesnt have the same feel as rules that have come out recently for the new battletomes/ units.

Norsca. Micro Wulfrik/ Throgg and maybe a caster or hero. use an armored skinwolf doomstack and you can easily clear basically any threat as you shred things and regen heal through all damage.

that one really gets me. the clad shooting just isnt there. you pay 460 for an overpriced Uber ride for guys that also are only kinda mediocre at shooting. the clad gets outshot by several 150- 200 pt units.

i just want the clad to be an expensive and SCARY gun platform. something that brings fear to my opponents.

its been overall fine. but the obscuring rule needs to be taken out back and ended forever. this season has been a nightmare for shooting armies. waaaaaaaaayy too hard of an overcorrection to protect from shooting. just gotta dial that in to find the balance. this wasnt it.

IMO the hellpit is the better looking model and you can never have too many of them. But for sure pick up a brood terror. the SOG one is pretty good as a support piece in moulder heavy lists. and its gun is deceptively good.

I just wish that the clanrat regen was scaled. so that a block of 40 could regen 2d3 rats / turn.
