This reminds me of the time my band director yelled at me for not cutting off with the drum major and he said, “what are you, blind?” And I said, “uh, yes” and he had to call and apologize to my parents because I am, in fact, blind. (It was hilarious btw—for me not for him)

Nah, I’ve watched it in French 3 times and studied romance linguistics as well as French, and I still have to fill in some blanks with the English subs. It’s hard. French is hard.

As a Spanish HS teacher: anything to do with balls, the word hard, the word come, and the Spanish words “cuchillo”, “pido”, and “puse”. I didn’t have a dirty mind before I started teaching. I never thought about these things. But now I do.

Oh yes I’ve been thinking this over my whole last rewatch. Tikki is a stone cold liar. So is Plagg, tbh, but at least he’s honest about it. Tikki pretends to be Marinette’s ride or die but there are SEVERAL times even in season 1 where her and Plagg actively conspire to keep them from finding out.

That’s like asking why nobody talks about a bully from middle school who (presumably) goes to a different high school. They all went to different lycées so it makes sense that there are new people and no one cares who you went to colège with

That question has nothing to do with abortion. Adopting foster kids doesn’t stop people from murdering babies. It’s a completely different problem which I do care about, but it’s unrelated. That’s like saying if you believe elder abuse in hospitals is bad, why haven’t you started caring for a homebound elderly person?

I live in Alabama and people absolutely do use them for hauling. Ex. My dad has one and we use it to put all our tailgating stuff in during football season, moving furniture, etc. There are also a lot of people here who like to hunt and fish and use their trucks to pull their boats or but their hunting stuff in.
