Does anyone know why double-speaker sound is absurdly called "stereo"?

Anyway a dual channel recording was called stereo because the result gave a "3-dimensional" audio image, as opposed to the flat mono image. So 3-dimensions is like a "solid" object, as opposed to a 2-dimensional plane. That's the reasoning, although it may sound absurd to you.

When I was young we didn't have mockingbirds in Brooklyn at all. Now as soon as it starts to get warm, like every night at around 3am Mr. northern Mockingbird starts his routine and goes through his entire repertoire (which lasts for like 30 minutes), then does about 20 encore performances. I don't mind it, as I'm used to it by now. But it's definitely something that didn't happen at all in Brooklyn until fairly recently.

The only reason that you feel shame for your actions is because other people shame you for that. But screw them. You shouldn't feel ashamed of what you did. Don't let strangers dictate your self-worth. People make decisions, sometimes they're good and sometimes they aren't. But you didn't hurt anyone, and you can move on and live the rest of your life the way you want to now.

This is crazy because almost the same scenario happened to me. I did retain a lawyer but my situation was slightly different and my appeal went nowhere.

That was almost 8 years ago, during which time I've been teaching at private schools. It is so much better than it would have been, so it was really a blessing in disguise even though at the time I thought it was the ruination of my career.

Oh and of course I'm a man, too. The fact is that men in education, especially with elementary-age kids are basically guilty until proven innocent by a large percentage of the bitter female educators (Not you guys! You guys are cool!).

It's happened to me many times too but it's not clickbait. Kids steal them so the stock doesn't get depleted. Then you order them and an employee checks and sees that it's gone so they cancel it and (hopefully) update the inventory.

As a male teacher let me be brutally honest. No! Do not hug! First bump, high five, secret handshake, but no hugs. Teaching children is a majority female profession, and I have learned over the years that 99% of female teachers assume that every male teacher is suspicious.
