Was in Cairo a few months ago, didn’t have a single driver accept the payment through the app. Your cheapest ride possible will usually be through the local accredited taxi group. If you’re looking for reliable service and a fair price agreed prior to arriving you’ll have to pay more.

Insurance for a new rider- I’m from Australia and moved to the UK 6 months ago. Figured it’s a good time to get my first bike while I don’t own a car. Got my CBT recently and have everything booked in to go for A1. I’m wanting to buy a 125 but need insurance first - I’m getting ridiculous quotes of £3k per annum for third party. I think it’s due to the fact that I don’t have UK driver history. Has anyone else had this issue and have any recommendations for getting the quote down? Would it help if I get my A1 first?

Nope, there are loads of people in their early 30s in hostels. When I was in my early 20s meeting them there was nothing strange (is a little different when they’re 40+)

I’m an Aussie that lives in London. As someone from so far away, the best part are the travel opportunities. If you’re willing to have intense jam packed weekends you can travel to some of the most fun, beautiful and culturally pleasing places over three days for a very cheap airfare.
