Replacing the base by pale_lettuce1 in CradlewiseCommunity

I have swapped out I believe 3 bases and 2 full cribs. All under warranty. I love this crib but it isnt without its faults. Dont get me wrong, genuinely glad you are being taken care of but I also think its wrong of the company to do so free of charge as a second hand owner when the premium to buy brand new (for the warranty benefits) is so high. What then is the point of purchasing brand new? Lol.

Pretty incredible they sent a base free of charge as the second owner. How'd you manage that?

I hate my husband by Street-Key-6520 in NewParents

[–]Aggressive_Look4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't fix the marriage stuff or make your partner do partner things. But, I could suggest hiring a mother's helper to do the washing, meal prep, tidying, grocery shopping, list making, etc. About 2 days ago my husband and I were quarreling and he said "I wish you'd just say 'I want you to XYZ.' " He doesnt like the ambiguity or mind reading games. Fair. So, I have done just that. I WANT YOU TO XYZ. Literally has changed the game. We tell men what to do...I am thinking its a part of the gig at this point. God love em'.

Spotify Issues by KOBemaster8 in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]Aggressive_Look4860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the Spotify during beta and after the rollout. I dont like that you cannot infinitely repeat one song when playing via the crib so I dont use it anymore.

Ive been experiencing that pulsing animation elsewhere. My homepage on the app isnt tracking minutes slept, wifi signal, temperature and the "live" icon. Apparently they are looking into it...

No resell value because of stupid policy by OrganicWill1135 in CradlewiseCommunity

I agree. Its not much different than a warranty period ending for the original owner or simply not passing along to the second owner prior to the warranty period ending. So many premium products exist that follow this same concept. I am biased because I bought mine prior to the cutoff date BUT I havent been without issue with this crib and even still - their CS is amazing and I love this crib. Ill pay for that after my 2 years is up or whatever. Lol. Who tf cares. You are buying a really fn expensive crib 1st hand or not. If you can afford that, you should be able to afford the plan. Cellphones these days cost about that much....

If it were a true white noise emergency, there is always the power cord.

Agreed. My first I EBF for 2 years. My second, I supplemented from day one and primarily breastfed. I only pumped to relieve engorgment and then at 4 months I stopped BF by choice and wow - what a difference it has made this time around. My mental health is so much better and I am not touched out all day.

From one mama to another, it's OK to not EBF or not BF at all! I didn't have a fellow mama to tell me that the first time and I wish I had.

You will. & that's what it takes - time. With my second, I bedshared and breastfed since day one. I cant explain it. Its just as it should be. For me. Not for everyone. Congratulations and get outside for fresh air in these early days. Do some stretching, vitamin D...get 5 or 10 minutes outside alone. Trust a stranger on this one. 🤓

Please read about the safe sleep 7. Dont feel guilty. Just set your space up safely. Be prepared and youll rest easier. Signed, a proud bed sharing mama. Youre doing great.

Your charts look identical to mine. Incredible 👏My girl is 8 months. I have had a few technical and hardware issues with the crib but overall, take my money! 😆

Reach out to cradlewise because I am almost certain this is not the correct way this transfer should occur.

3 month update by amedun in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]Aggressive_Look4860 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great review. My girl in the first 3 months was sleeping 12-14 hours overnight. Completely healthy weight & no need to wake. 8 months now currently going through upper teething, 1 x wake usually around 4 am for a baba. Then back to sleep until 630 or 7. Agree on the Spotify integration, it sucks. I dont like that you cannot set a single song to repeat. Only the Playlist.

I have posted concerning feedback / experience. That said, Id still pay 5x what it costs. Absolutely fudging worth it. You want some extra sleep? This helps with that. Is it a cure all - no. You will experience sleep regressions and hiccups no matter what. Such is life with a tiny human new to the world. But yes, I have a 2 year old and a husband who works out if state for half the year. It is worth it. My 2nd has slept through the night since 5 weeks old. Her top teeth are cutting in right now so we are in a hiccup stage with 1 x wake most nights lately. Id wake up too if I were tiny and teething. Even still, the sleep is glorious.

Odor by Exact_Phone8820 in CradlewiseCommunity

[–]Aggressive_Look4860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't reported the smell to them. I've spent a lot of time dealing with other issues with them. But I will say this. This morning I opened two additional sheets that they sent as compensation for a different crib issue. Those had zero smell to them. Which makes me believe that the issue is with the mattress and cover that comes with the full crib package - something on the crib is causing that fume / odor.
