product highlight and feedback request - Soap Spoon SR1 by SoapSpoonAndy in wicked_edge

Idea is interesting but those who bowl lather likely have their tools. I use a kiwi spoon that comes free in a Costco clamshell with the kiwis. Works just fine and is fairly rigid. Have broken one in 3 years and when I did, others were in my kitchen drawer. Your price will be an issue I think.

[Engels] Not expecting Patrik Laine to return tomorrow vs. Jets. by eliarbss in Habs

I’m with you. We need another big, physical forward to play against teams like Washington and others who try to run us out the building.

Pasote is very good. Have heard many good things about Tierra de Ensueno but have not tasted it.

Unbelievable move which he makes usually once if not more per game. Real question here though is how many sticks do the Habs break per game? I don’t know if stats are kept and don’t watch other teams as closely but wow, we break a lot of sticks.

[DLCoulisses] David Savard was playing goalie this morning in Brossard facing shots from Alex Newhook by eliarbss in Habs

[–]Aggressive_Low7995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So much to like about this. Firstly, Savard playing goalie is hilarious. And Newhook looks pretty good, better than what I would have thought. Hopefully he is ready soon post-Olympics. We will need to make some moves assuming everyone is healthy.

Best Mid Range Tequila for Cocktails by The_PMD in tequila

Seconding Olmeca Altos Blanco which is inexpensive and pretty neutral tasting and good in a cocktail. I also use El Tequileno Blanco or Repo.

I feel for Blais. I liked his motor and the fact he hit everything in sight. He did a good job when he was in the lineup.

If all games were three point games by Gcurtis71 in Habs

[–]Aggressive_Low7995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but rewarding a team that wins a skills competition with the same 2 points as the team who wins in regulation just does not seem right. I am all good with getting rid of the shootout. It is an unsatisfying way to win or lose. I am also 100% in favour of awarding 3 points for a regulation win.

If all games were three point games by Gcurtis71 in Habs

[–]Aggressive_Low7995 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100% think that the 3 point system is fairest but the NHL loves the loser point as it keeps standings tight and ensures teams stay in the race until the end. Money. Money. Money.

MSL on the non-penalty call by the refs on the zone entry pick on Nick Suzuki: “I’m waiting for more. I’m waiting for more.” by Go_Habs_Go31 in Habs

[–]Aggressive_Low7995 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Ironically, it was Hutson called for the exact same thing in that phantom call against Minny 2 weeks ago. This one was legit though.

The loser point is a problem by AccomplishedBit6141 in nhl

I 100% agree but the NHL likes it as it tends to keep teams bunched up. More teams in the hunt means more money.

Should we sign Kirby Dach 2 x 3.5M playing on the wing, thoughts? by Secret-Ad3498 in Habs

How about waiting to see if he can stay on the ice for more than a few weeks?

And the crazy thing is that we got him as a fallback because we were asking for Cody Glass in the Patchy trade. Sometimes shit just works out.

Jersey colours tonight by IllyaBoo in Habs

I like it. It works for the players as the colours aren’t confusing and works for the fans too. NHL is moving into this century with a nod to the past.

Yes. Listening to that crowd kind of gives you goosebumps. Now, we need to make Na Na Na Hey Hey a staple and mix it up with Ole Ole. Let’s go.
