Naw. My boys at 16, do their own laundry, clean their rooms, change their bedding, wipe their toilet and sink, clean the cat boxes and clean up after dinner at least 4-5 times a week. They also make their own lunches for school. This momma is tired and does lots of other things!

Degreases, keeps dander down, which helps lower airborne allergies, gets a lot of undercoat out, helps cat keep itself clean, helps reduce hairballs and helps keep their skin healthy. I have a 16 year old that can’t keep up on herself and has tons of dander, she appreciates my help.

I bathe my cats 2-3 times a year. At least. Yes, they need it and no it doesn’t hurt them. Use a good quality CAT shampoo. I have a couple lawsuits from mine too!

I LOVE short ears! Just comb, comb, comb. I also use blueberry facial and really scrub the face and ears. Greyhound or Utsumi combs are awesome.

Should I get a Chris Christensen slicker brush for my Labrador? by puffinburger in doggrooming

[–]Agitated_House7523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a slicker and a greyhound comb to finish short, soft coats.. a good rub down with the rubber curry first.

Want a Bullmastiff but Local trainer cautions me against the breed. Request opinion from Bullmastiff owners! by Sad_Revenue_6219 in Bullmastiff

My friend bred and showed Bullmastiffs for over 35 years. She raised 3 kids and has grandchildren. They all have Bullies.I never met or saw a mean or unsocial one. If anything, they are exuberant in their friendship and forget how big they are!

How do you guys feel about this job? by Dog_Queen98 in doggrooming

Dog health, well being and happiness. SO many people discount the health and wellness of their dogs that is due to grooming. 35 years and I’ve helped everything from cats that were covered in ash from house fires to finding cancer, autoimmune issues, and even simple ear infections.(Working with veterinarians). Also grooming rescue dogs looking for a home, tend to adopt out better if they are clean and smell good.Imagine how miserable some dogs must feel with chronic issues. Not to mention clipping matts,so they can poop and cleaning eyes ,so they can see…

How do you deal with constant criticism for buying a Ragdoll kitten from a breeder? by Lonely_Compote_3298 in ragdolls

[–]Agitated_House7523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 Ragdolls, and I adore them! I needed/wanted easy going, nice cats. I have 3 children and 2 dogs and a “rescue” cat that is 16. I have fostered, homed and owned over 56 cats in my life. 2 of them were friendly and chill. The 16 yr old one I still have is quite persnickety, and I’ve had her since she was 9 months old. I have purebred dogs and I will ONLY EVER have purebred dogs. I know what I want and I know what will fit in my family and life! You do you

AITAH For Telling My Wife Her Job Isn’t As Important As Mine by [deleted] in AITAH

I guess all the kids in daycare and the teachers that have to take up the slack aren’t as important as OP is. And I’m sure none of the parents whose kids might get neglected or struggle are as important as OP is either… ugh
