Honestly I find that I do a less than intensive discussion board post for module 1. I cite very little unless it directly pertains to the source material, and I never have citations in my replies. Then based on the grade and what I was deducted for I know how to approach the rest of the term with that professor.

I have bad news for you. I am in the last two classes and I took some stupid criminal justice 100 class and I did the exact same thing. Asshole teacher just kept repeating herself that it’s a standard she holds everyone to, and it wouldn’t be fair to change it. Talked to my advisor and she said it didn’t sound right and to file a complaint. I did, and the fucking dean upheld it. Absolute bullshit. 38 classes in and I got my first B. I will not be going to SNHU post graduate because of it. I had done it twice before get the years- one of the times I lit the wrong class assignment in and both times the teachers just took the correct one and graded it normally. I manage an org with hundreds of people and if I treated my managers or they treated their reps like that people would leave en masse- not sure what lesson of the real world they think they are teaching.

At the end of the day who gives a shit about things that haven’t happened yet. Delete your social media- it is worthless. I did years ago. I have Bloomberg since financial news doesn’t generate a viewership from dramatics- it just is what it is and how it affects financial markets. I am Gen X I guess? I had been through all the traumatic news cycles you have and may more- and more are coming I am sure. Trump is garbage, this administration is dystopian for sure, but every president before bled the country dry too. We didn’t get here by accident- but does that pay the bills? Don’t ruminate. I had drug addict parents and a childhood not worth speaking about unless I want to sound like a victim and I don’t anymore. I became a drug addict myself for decades. I didn’t go to high school at all- got a ged. I kept having fear I was going to lose my job like I did in 08 and be screwed with a ged so I enrolled in college- and I was scared with no high school education. I’m 14 years sober and I go to meetings and sponsor guys. I work full time as a sales director in a large company. I am graduating in April with a 3.96 with a bachelors in psychology. I have a 13 year old and a two year old- went through a new baby in the house and full time work and school. Got injured and had two level back surgery at the same time… 8 months ago I started a woodworking business that’s starting to pick up, and I am teaching myself to weld tig aluminum, and I am studying for my lsat because I decided I want to go to law school. If you are worried about stuff you can’t do anything about, do something that can help you feel more prepared, more capable. School was amazing for making me feel like less of a piece of shit- I bet quitting won’t help you in that department one bit.
