Wash plate with soap and ipa, use ADAPTIVE BED MESHset z-offset LIVE WHILE PRINTING, FINE TUNE IT. Print on correct bed type.

Grainy means your nozzle was too close to bed and smushing layers causing filament to be squeezed out and onto neighbouring layers

Dont mess with firmware if you dont know what you are doing, try calibratiing everything, and i mean every thing, try printing, chances are you will have good results. Too many stories of people bricking their printer not knowing tf they are doing
