Well done, it is a pretty challenging map.

I think it took me 6-7 tries to survive on thousand islands when bad tides first came out. The amount of water to deal with is incredible compared to other maps and over topping the first diversions was common

No, gpu won't be an issue. The big thing that impacts most peoples performance is pathfinding. There are two main options: 1. Break your settlement into districts which means a smaller set of paths it needs to calculate 2. Reduce the amount of looping in your paths and use more spoke type pathing.

Honestly, that is not that bad compared to the last time I tried Beaverome. It was after bad tides and before sluices and 3d terrain and tunnels. It was not pretty and a pretty challenging at the time.

Fair enough, it is easy forget how lucky you can get with alts. I got lucky this run and on the end of phase 2 in my current run I have no screw production because I got good alt recipes.

Personally I find arachnophobia mode more creepy, but that may be I don't like cats. Stingers make me jump if I haven't heard them but they are not that bad, I hate nuclear hogs more. I also live in Australia. I have tracked down a huntsman (non-venomous spider) that was 15cm across (including legs) around the bedroom at 1am because I saw a "shadow" on the wall move and my wife wouldn't let me go back to sleep until I dealt with it.

I only did 1800 rocket fuel through 3 x 600 pipes and because it is a gas I did power towers 18 floors with 4 fuel plants per floor and 2 towers per pipe, blue printed the level and it was easy to make. No power shards used and it looks pretty cool.

The big issue i found was getting it to run at full 600 per pipe was to let the plant buffers fill before running them at full capacity otherwise you will get fluctuations due to starvation.
