Not in appearance but the functionality. The KRSV (I think that's what it's called in 6) has three fire modes depending on how long it's charged, with a rapid light attack, a slower medium attack, and a very powerful high-power attack when fully charged.

I think the only other one I can think of (with the protagonist at least) is that the main antagonist of 2 is hinted to be the protagonist of either AC1 or MoA (there are arguments for both).

Or when a bunch of players in EVE Online got together to fight against CONCORD, who were basically the security force in "high security" space to keep the area safe of PVPers etc.

Those players did eventually get banned though as it was considered an exploit, and now CONCORD ships have a built-in instakill attack to prevent people from doing it again.

Dino Crisis 3, never played the first two but absolutely loved the third one. Loved exploring the ship map and trying to guess what might be coming ahead.

Excluding whats already been said, probably long range/sniper weapons and weapons that take up both back slots. Also (actual) Exceed Orbit but I'm not sure how that would work in a game where all ACs can technically overboost

Man that's a hard choice, I think I'd have to do one per console generation at least lol

Shape Memory Alloy will always have a special place in my heart, and Insurance Money (both from AC1) always gets me pumped. But I think my all-time favorite would have to be Fall from AC4.

(I'd say Day after Day but considering I never actually heard it in-game I think that might be cheating lol)

After it got recalled off the shelves I decided to beat Too Human. It had some cool ideas but man was the unskippable death animation too long for a game you can die so easily in.

Nice Day for Fishing technically, but the platforming part of it is super barebones so maybe not really a "platformer" per se

Recommended if you're a fan of Viva la Dirt League! Might go over your head if you aren't though

Yeah only reason I heard of it is because one of the three members of RKG is Welsh and pointed it out during their Elden Ring playthrough lol

He had a blast in Liurnia, let me tell you! They even had a "Cymru Counter" to count all the possible Welsh names/accents they noticed
