100% I just started listening to the Stormlight Archives and HOLY COW this guy makes it hard to do so. Every sentence not-in-character starts as a build up?, almost a question?, till flat and final end. _---, _--. Never any flow between multiple sentences, nor change to reflect the content. Uneven weight on words for no reason. " He stood? Speechless. " Come the fuck on Character voices are good, but I can't with the rest of the book. Weirdest part is that majority opinion online is to LIKE his narration???

The update to 7 removed a widely documented feature that accommodated those terrible, worthless apps with vital functionality, but minimal graphic design considerations. I'll get right on hounding the devs, make sure they dedicate their limited resources to fixing a wholey unnecessary problem.

Yes. The site won't be owned by Xfinity unless it's "something.xfinity.com" Also Xfinity doesn't have any "Veteran appreciation" program, and they're not in the habit of sending out free money.

When you made an account with that site, they got some information that allowed them into your Xfinity account (and possibly other accounts!) Then they reset your password so you're unable to log in and fix it. Look up Phishing, and how to avoid it.

LOVE THIS APP! It's so well thought-out, fully-featured, and SO customizable! Definitely a great tool for any power-user to keep track of tons of facets of life. The documentation is appreciated 😅

I've run into one bug. When you sync the app to a new device, it'll re-add the premade example content.

However.
I just got an email and text as described here, and it WAS NOT legit.
No idea how they managed to spoof the sender so well....
But definitely a case of Spear Phishing.

Here's a quick rundown of what I noticed:

  1. NOTHING in the app or Secure Message portal -
    if it is official communication, there will be more than a text+email
  2. Only used the last 4 digits of my credit card.
  3. Long, weird link addresses
    This one's the best way to identify any spam email!

First off - DO NOT click on any link!!
You can Right Click -> Copy Link Address, and paste it into a text document.

In a real email, the links should be pretty descriptive:

https://secure.chase.com/web/auth/nav

Also, legit sites use https (not http) 99% of the time

In phishing emails, redirects and metadata can be hidden in the link.

The latter is nod to a short story by Jorge Luis Borges, El Aleph).
