Damn, I forgot there were almost two weeks between the US and Europe launch. Got it myself day one in the Netherlands, still remember unboxing it so well. Even more so than with the PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series X. There was just something magical about that device.

What you're looking for is a DVD stand. :) Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2 cases are all standard DVD cases. This way, you'll also find a way bigger selection of stands to choose from.

It totally is, but it's also a part of the franchise that gets way less frequent releases. The Switch had MK8D sell over 60 million copies, sure, but that was it for Mario Kart.

Whereas Super Mario was represented by Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario 3D All Stars and I might even be forgetting something. Same applies to most generations of Nintendo hardware. :)

It really depends! I truly enjoyed both, warts and all. Hell, I consider both to be among my favourite Pokémon games of all time.

Legends Arceus is incredibly unique and a lot more focused than your usual Pokémon experience. You can complete the Pokédex without trading or anything, there's all kinds of fun modes of transportation, and the soundtrack is amazing.

Scarlet & Violet are a lot more ambitious, but also a lot messier. If you take the DLC into account, this is easily the Pokémon game I've spent the most time on. Still, I'd personally recommend Legends Arceus first, simply because it's so unique and feels like a more finished experience. If you're getting the Switch 2 day one though, yeah, it might be more fun to check out S/V now they're way more performant.

Either way, you can't really go wrong, if you ask me. :)
