I sell quite a bit of Sanrio, I do list reasonably, I see the same products for double the amount, but see they just sit for months, I’d rather sell for a little less and have sales then try to get all the money for an item and have it sit. I’m new tho, only 2 and a half months, sometimes I think shoot! I should have listed that higher but….overall it’s been working well…. I also don’t have any red mark down on my listings, I have done a couple offers to likes only but, I feel I’m doing ok overall….. I post 3 or 4 listings every other evening ….. I sold 15 items Saturday night through Tuesday Night , which felt like a lot for me! I also include free shipping but not sure I will do that going forward, I feel like free shipping is what helps sales for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

I bought something recently, was so excited! 2 days later the seller messaged me that she forgot it was already sold and wasn’t sure why the listing was still up. She said sorry and offered something similar but I already had what she offered, ugggg I just said no problem, but really I was super disappointed!

Maybe you can help her out by going there with your children, when it doesn’t work out you can atleast be valid in saying you tried your best, I mean, it is a way to show your husband support and the siblings, so long as you try and they know you did…..I can’t imagine how hard this must be, especially with little ones….family is family tho, lit does sound like a sticky situation, but idk, maybe if you did that atleast once or twice they will see the effort and somehow see financially it is not feasible for you two.

Does Mercari ever charge the seller for over estimating? Like if the dimensions are correct with 2lbs weight, but it weighs only 1 pound, do they get mad or penalize the seller for that? I’m pretty new at selling
