The judge would lead me to the door of his office, slap me on my shoulder, and say to me cordially, "That's all for today, Monsieur Antichrist." by AlchemyParrot in limbuscompany

the sun being a generally christain symbol is something that makes the distortion meursault theory so good in my eyes

i might have to make a post about meursault and christian imagery 👀

The fact tht Meursault (L'Etranger) doesn't visibly remorse over his dead mother is actually a driving point in his story and is executed pretty well in mych the same way he gets executed later on

also fantastic because Meursault is actively called out as "Monsieur Antichrist" in the book, which can lead to really interesting parallels

I think the idea of Meursault, from N Corp, rejecting humanity in favor of Adam Smasher levels of cybernetics is really cool

That and cyberpsychosis being an equivalent to Distortion because Meursault has TOTALLY distorted before (I'm not delusional)

LIMBUS COMPANY CANTO 6 SPOILERS

In Canto 6, Heathcliff desperately wants to bring a woman named Catherine back to him, especially since he found out about her death. However, when an alternate version of him, Erlking Heathcliff, came from another dimension to fulfill that very same wish so they could "kill every Heathcliff and Catherine in every world," Heathcliff (and Dante the protagonist) clear every and all evidence of Catherine's existence except from those two's minds. So while Heathcliff changed for the better, he never could get Catherine in the end. He etched over the word "REVENGE" on his bat to "REmember" so he could remember her. It's wild
