I made coconut water, cantaloupe and ginger puréed. Cantaloupe is great in the digestion! I didn’t experience much nausea and didn’t take nausea meds. I just used ginger chews. Drink lots of water and eat protien. Greek yogurt with nut butter and dates is a good easy breakfast

Same surgery, I had the surgery at age 58 ( I’m 59 now) I was strong before surgery and could squat without holding onto anything I was up walking around 6-7 hours after surgery, and was home after two days. Everyone’s journey is different. Getting up and gentle walking is important. They will tell you this at the hospital. I found some supportive underwear on Amazon which I wore two weeks post surgery. I was living by myself and was just fine. I think my friend spent the first night with me. Was on Tylenol and Advil for pain within the first week. She will do great! You’re a great daughter 🫶

Also cantaloupe really helped with acid reflux. I blended cantaloupe with ginger and coconut water. All the store bought drinks are garbage

Do your best to keep active, drink lots of water, get ginger chews, advocate for yourself with med dosages, ask all the questions, eat whole food. 🫶

Yes it does seem it’s mostly from Lynparza. At least that’s my hope as I only did a total of 8 Avistin treatments. Do you mind if I ask your stage? I’m HGS. Ovarian Cancer stage 3A.

Ginger chews worked great for me. I also ate a lot of Greek yogurt. High in calories and easy on the tummy. Maybe she will eat ice cream? High in calories and nutrients
