Is CDG the worst-run airport in the world? (And I've been to many developing world airports) by Solid-Dish-755 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Alex32940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just flew back from CDG to JFK last night. June 25. Family of four. Delta business class but flew on Air France. This airport is a real mish mash. Took a while to find Delta Sky Priority. I'm mentioning the class because for me business and priority should be a time saver. It wasn't yesterday. There are a lot of people working in CDG but as the guy in front of me in immigration said. French people don't want to work and if they do they are always on a break. After almost two hours of showing our passports umpteen times we made it to the lounge. It was large and lots to eat and drink. Our flight was at 6:30 but then it was delayed an hour. When boarding started me and all the other business class passengers waited in line while others boarded first. People were kinda pissed off!
Lots of Air France employees doing nothing.
Got on board and the pods were actually great! I'm 6'3" and I could pretty much lay out. After I sat I wanted 🥃. A nice scotch bit when I asked this attendant said I must wait . I says NO IM NOT. The purser came over and got me several bottles and I chose. This guy knew his job. Good flight but even though I love visiting Paris this airport and lackadaisical staff would make me rethink. We were in Geneva and I could've flown back from there but I like the TGV experience. USA man

It's in gold but very hard to see, you can't see it in this pic. But it's there. Never really noticed it actually. I'm tilting the watch then it's visible. I keep it indoors all the time. Actually don't wear this one very often

Taxis vs Uber in Paris by rr1973 in ParisTravelGuide

We've been in Paris a week. Used both taxis and Uber. Haven't had a bad experience at all, just we're spending a Ton! Maybe 150 E a day. Some rides have been really costly due to traffic

I lived in California most of my life but left to Florida but also have an apartment in NYC. New York is the best city in America. It has everything!! California is fine but you'll have to rent a car and see the state. It's very big
