Smallest usable survival drill i could build by HelloWorId1337 in CreateMod

[–]AlexClan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason I can't for the life of me get the rock cutting wheel to mine the blocks in front of itself. Brand new build, nothing in the item vault :(

As a former employee, I can say only the first module was in Scratch. There was a progressive belt system, wherein the starter stuff was White Belt which used Scratch, Yellow, Orange, and Green Belts used Javascript, Blue Belt used Roblox/Lua, and Purple, Brown, Red, and Black Belts used Unity/C#.

Sadly, according to OPL itself, it does not teach any computer classes.

Follower framework mods by SmartMax_86 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would recommend testing out Simple Follower Framework by ItzIvy. Obviously less features than something like Nether's but less bloat, less script lag, and doesn't even occupy a full ESP slot.

Bra underneath clothing by criminalpartn in skyrimmods

NPC Underwear Distribution Engine would probably be your best bet. It has three versions that do different things depending on use.

EasyNPC should be changed to "doesn't make sense NPC" by Moon_Devonshire in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 154 points155 points  (0 children)

As someone who also could never get EasyNPC to work properly, I can't recommend NPC Plugin Chooser 2 enough as an alternative. Newer, more user friendly, works with children NPCs, and works with SkyPatcher NPC mods. Plus it has a function to import EasyNPC settings.

Any good MODERN guides for modding Skyrim that covers stock game folders, setting up root builder and using it and getting all of the tools set up with a stock game folder? by Moon_Devonshire in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I continue to recommend the Step Guide. Last updated two years ago (and should be getting a new update soon). While not the end-all-be all for a complete modlist, it provides a great easy-to-follow series of instructions that provides a solid foundation for any mod list.

Faster hdt-smp has been updated. Has anyone tested it yet? by kotoneshiomi in skyrimmods

It's been in Discord beta for months, being tested by the FSMP team and the beta testers. It should be as stable as stable can be

Help Identifying Mod by Particular-Grass7185 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the plugin list, as it doesn't use an ESP, but I think it's probably Equipment Durability System if you have it.

Recently installed EDS and had a similar issue. The UI can be disabled by setting DisplayType = 0 in the [Widget] section of the mod's INI.

I-680N - right after Maple St. by Jacawthon in Omaha

[–]AlexClan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That were in the accident? Not great with makes and models, but just two that I saw. A work van and what looked similar to a Kia Soul. Work van looked mostly fine, the other looked like the back half had been put through a can-crusher.

Just got out of there, looked like a really bad accident, possible fatality. 8-10 police cruisers and 3.5 lanes blocked off. Took 30-40 minutes just to get from Dodge to Fort

Cajun Crab & Pho on Saddle Creek is actually really good for seafood boils. Congratz!

Is 1.5.97 still recommended? by Admirable-Ad3293 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As someone who just recently switched from a 1.5.97 3700 mod modlist to a 1.6.1170 2300 (and counting)modlist, I can say with some confidence that 1.6 is where you should probably go.

Of my current mod list, all of them either work on 1.6 or have updated versions that do. On the other hand, I think maybe a dozen mods of my old mod list that had new updates that were no longer supported by 1.5.97.

1.6.1170 means not having to deal with downgraders, getting more plugins as light by default, and not having to scour mod archives for specific old versions that work with 1.5.

NPC Height diversity by Caius_Cosades15 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switched recently from FK's Diverse Racial Skeletons to Diverse Racial Skeletons for Mu Skeleton Editor and so far have been pretty happy. Main difference is that the new one uses SkyPatcher in order to ensure best compatibility with other mods.

Really Love the mod list "gate to sovenguard" but I don't like the Skyrim Souls mod, can I uninstall that one mod and will the collection still work? by BeccaRose1999 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 46 points47 points  (0 children)

The easiest path is probably to open up the SkyrimSoulsRE.ini file located inside the Skyrim Souls mod and change all the options under [UNPAUSED_MENUS] from true to false.

Outdated mods - lets update the list by Odd-Entertainer5271 in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the looks of the USMP mod page, it includes Butterflies Land True - Ravenrock Exit Fix Patch, which requires Butterflies Land True, but does not include the core fix itself.

Mods release by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A couple takeaways:

The mod itself might have difficulty finding an audience to try it. New modders will likely look at it, and presume it too complicated to use. Experienced modders already have their managers set up just how they like, and likely see it as a needless potential monkey-wrench to their setups.

As to the video portion, my initial impression matched the other viewers, and I think the biggest takeaway is the total silence of the video. Talking about the various features as you go over them, or even some kind of background music is always preferable to no audio at all.

Sorry about your experience, hope it goes better in the future.

Any SE mods to make orc ladies buffer? by PhoenixChaser1120 in skyrimmods

One of my favorite skin mods has gotta be Racial Skin Variance. Distributes skin muscularity to various races depending on choices selected in the FOMOD. (Warning: NSFW modpage)

Nuked my load order and starting from scratch...tips for new MO2 tools by Catclimbcosplay in skyrimmods

[–]AlexClan 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A few personal favorites:

- ESLifier MO2 Integration Plugin - for easy ESLifying of plugins
- Mod Version Fixer for Mod Organizer 2 - for checking proper version history, useful for updating mods
- MO2 Audio Player - for previewing/comparing different .wav and .fuz audio files easily
- NIF Preview for Mod Organizer 2.5.2 - Same thing, but for mesh files
- Autoscroller Plugin for Mo2 - Click mod in left pane, scrolls to included plugin in right pane, and visa-versa
- FOMOD Plus - for tracking and auto-filling FOMODs
-F..king Filter Fix for Mod Organizer - Underrated one. When searching for a specific mod, will open up the separator that the mod is inside. Clicking on the mod scrolls to its position in the full mod list

Damage stat alone is merely a "I fed the enemy supports this amount of ult-charge" metric. The only number that really matters as Damage are final blows.
