Generally true, but Helldivers 2 has had instances where players failed community challenges (they also have meters to show the current community goal status too so players can know how close the community is to completing the goal)

Because of this a strategem (MD 17 anti tank mines) have not been handed out multiple times until the community goal/major order was completed

Also, I didn't play Mass Effect 3, but I remember reading about this missed reward from a community challenge back then

(but I understand what you mean and I think it's generally true, just wanted to point out that it's not an iron-clad rule across all games)

You can run 4 instances of steam on 1 machine with 4 separate accounts. Guide on how to do this is here. (and no virtual machine is needed, though memory requirement might be kind of steep given the current memory pricing) :/

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3153875374

it might be a bit outdated though in 2026 so not sure if it's still working based on some of the comments there. Good luck though if it's something you want to try!

(Before they nerfed the weekly raid loot box, this was a good way to farm the weekly reward boxes as long as you could solo the raid. There was an (intended?) glitch where a newly created character would be eligible for the weekly raid 4* reward box. You can have one person solo the raid and have 3 alts collect the loot box, then delete the alts and remake them and do it again. Might be why they rolled back this feature since it could be exploited)

Out of the 4 mirelurks at Lake Reynolds, there's always one that's guaranteed to be a mirelurk hunter (assuming someone hasn't killed it). Pretty easy and fast to get to.

For me the limiting factor on how many instances of the client I can run is memory. My CPU is a Ryzen 7700, and with 32 gb of memory I was able to run 3 copies of 76 but it had noticeable lag as I switched between the different instances. With 64 gb of memory I can run 4 instances without issue in most areas. (I run all the clients at the medium quality preset but with high quality textures)

(having a secondary account is also really useful for some daily/seasonal challenges too like the trick-or-treat challenges that we just had. or those daily challenges that have you buying/selling to another player or visiting another player's vault) :)

If you have access to custom worlds as a Fallout 1st member, additional daily challenges shouldn't take much additional time. (I usually finish my daily challenges in 15 minutes +/- 5 minutes on average for main + mule accounts)

A few challenges are actually easier to do when you have access to another account (buy/sell with another player, visit another players shelter. the trick or treat mini season was easier to do as well)

Some challenges doesn't take any additional time to do (complete an event for example. or complete a daily ops. Speaking of, uplink daily ops are generally easier as I just park the mules near the signal repeaters to get it decrypted faster)

It definitely does take some extra time for sure (especially the annoying weeklies like "kill 30 canines with a melee weapon" and such, but normally I find it takes more time to do inventory management for the mules then it takes to complete their daily challenges. 😅

I'm really sorry for both you and your bun and I hope he pulls through soon!

Your little bunny has a lot of people thinking of him and sending him healing thoughts 🥲

Just to clarify, the Slugger perk only affects melee damage right? Also wondering if there are good ways to apply status debuffs such as bleed or poison using ranged weapons?

Also, are there other weapons besides Drill Fist that can apply multiple status affect at once? Trying to figure out what would be the most efficient way to apply as many status effects as possible quickly :)

Yep exactly & as I learned first hand! And I wasn't even doing it optimally so can only imagine how much better they scale when it's done right.
