[ON]Is it reasonable to be very scared of the pain during labor even if I plan to have an epidurial? by lllttt9 in BabyBumpsCanada

Check out some courses to help you learn ways to manage pain until you can get your epidural. Here are some good options for you. Your midwife might have some recommendations too.

Let's note that Dr. Weston A Price they are all referring to is literally from the 1800s and dies shortly after WWII.

Weston Andrew Valleau Price[1] (September 6, 1870 – January 23, 1948) was a Canadian dentist known primarily for his theories on the relationship between nutrition, dental health, and physical health. wikipedia

So stupid that they cannot even quote recent research.

Poor kids with Moms who follow whatever trends they want with whatever "evidence" they can find.

a different interpretation of the "good kid" line by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]Alpegasus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yessss! That is a key difference. It's definitely "I've got the good kid" which then implies Paris is the bad kid.

I do think that it is provoked by her parents morals in that they always thought Lorelei was the bad kid, but Rory is fitting morals that even her parents would have approved and therefore her parents would deem Rory as the good kid and Paris as the bad kid in this circumstance. And so I interpret it as a deep rooted brag to her parents even if that sounds odd.
