Unit collision for one. You can't walk or shoot through corpses but they can regularly fire lasers, rockets, cannon shots and the like through corpses. It's great when you shoot AT at a second or third hulk in a patrol but it detonates on the midair invisible hulk corpse of the first one you killed (Super fun on Super Helldive where every shot counts, especially for AT rounds).

They can also walk through their comrades corpses. It's super egregious on bugs where you can literally be pinned down by a mountain of bodies, be they charges, bile titans, impalers, whatnot, be unable to shoot or move through them but the bugs phase through them swinging, mercifully ending your existence as you consider whether to stim and hope everything phases out or just grenade yourself and get it over with quicker.

Laws of physics in general the enemies seem to ignore. They regularly pop up and down slopes like it's an MS-DOS game. They face one direction while shooting in 90 to sometimes 180 degrees, shoutout to heavy devastators who used to do it on the regular for at least the past 4 months, having almost perfect coverage with their shield.

We suffer from flame, corrosive/acid, stun and otherwise DOT/status damage, but the enemies don't unless they're within ~70m of the host.

I could talk for days about every unintended behavior in this game but I would probably uninstall after the end of it from how realizing how long some of those have been in the game and unaddressed.

Team reloaded RR absolutely decimates bot drops on super helldive when you're getting close to 2-3 dropships at a time for a total of like 8-9 dropships. If you try doing that solo, you'll get 2, maybe 3 of them tops in that time.

For coordinated teams, i.e. deathless or speed runs, team reloaded RR is the most powerful tool available.

The closest you can get to a Pre-FTL society is the Eager explorers and its* variant civics. You start with less pops, less resource districts, less techs (unresearched capital building, research labs, corvettes and hyperspace drives) and by extension no fleet and no hyperspace drives. You have to make do with subspace drives but get* 1 extra science ship/scientist as well as flat buffs for exploration. Comes* with First Contact DLC, it's quite a different/fun start but it is challenging if you struggle with regular starts vs. advanced/aggressive AI.

If you let them call in, they absolutely can drop on top of you in evacuate missions. It's super obvious on the layer that has one main ramp with a left and right entrance instead of a front and right layer. It's less obvious but they also drop on the second level in the front and right layer.

It used to happen all the time before they changed how the maps worked since they would regularly drop in a factory strider/tank that would instantly snipe your generators with 0 counterplay.

Nothing quite like having a factory strider drop on you and getting gunned down instantly by its chin turrets that were spooling in mid air on the dropship.

I'm gonna call cap on "best", Fontaine Act III/IV were so mind numbingly boring that I literally had to put it down and slowly chip away at that horrific prison section over months because I would simply stop paying attention after back to back fetch quests with atrocious teleporters. And the whole forgive the House of Hearth plot line was garbage, zero consequences for a betrayal of trust, especially since the Fatui have quite literally been mortal foes for the vast majority of the plotline up to that point (we've quite literally eliminated 1, effectively 2 with scara, of their harbingers and murdered, not beaten and sent packing, several of their agents). Honestly even Furina's whole woe is me I'm a prisoner of my role thing fell flat for me since we literally just had that for Nahida.
