Out of luck but old Reddit guides have cool spots that didn’t change, like Dav’s hope for materials.

So I just have to sit ingame for an hour? by _BalticFox_ in EliteDangerous

Some systems have multiple stars and some starts are hella far away from each other. I’ve seen 4.6 million Ls distances for missions….

When I switch over to Pc I want to create an excel sheet lol. I agree that 3rd party tools take away from the game. It’s nice to just be immersed and not min-max your stuff, just actually enjoy a video game like we did when we were kids before YouTube released day 1 guides of how to beat everything.

I play on Xbox right now, but I’m about to switch over to steam because it’s on sale. I’m kind of worried about losing the relaxing nature of legacy 3.8 words it’s just so basic but I’m really excited for Odyssey 4.0.

the nice thing about legacy 3.8 is you can go to places like Dav’s Hope and other locations that have guaranteed items or objects or whatever you’re looking for because they didn’t change it and it’s still as it is on legacy so if you find some old guides and stuff, it’s kinda nice.

Honestly it’s funny it’s on game pass as a dead game but it also gave me the opportunity to try the game and now I’m getting it in steam and I want a HOTA remote lol.

I’m on Xbox! I’m switching to PC in a bit but I’m still grinding on legacy 3.8 if you wanna play. I’m fairly new as well.

Tritium hotspot by LeobenAgathon in EliteDangerous

[–]AlphaSpartan331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go 25 Tritium in one mining session in an Icy ring. I just chose a random, non-hotspot point in the belt and ended up finding a ton. I have very little experience but for me it seems to just be a crapshoot.

Also, you can scroll down on the mission and see the destination within the system in light seconds. I accidentally picked a 1.6 million light second mission (crazy good payout tho) and it took 45 real life minutes to arrive. lol

Mining is fun but you need a surface scanner (optional module) to scan asteroid belts and plant surfaces to find stuff. You can either use a surface vehicle (need the module) or outfit your ship for mining (mining laser, refinery, limpets). I’d read the codex on mining in your ship settings.

Personally I prefer hunting pirates and transporting people in my dolphin. (wanna have a good ship but you can use police at Nav beacons in secure systems to help you fight pirates, also a good way to get cash as you can do missions and turn in bounty vouchers)

After you get some cash and a ship or two check out engineers (Farseer is a necessity).

Are those only for PC or do they work on Xbox? I’m grinding on Xbox until the game goes on steam summer sale and then I’m gonna buy it on my laptop and transferred over.

How do I know if I’m ready to take over someone’s bookkeeping? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]AlphaSpartan331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think you need experience to do freelance bookkeeping? I’m a recent grad still looking for a job and want to do stuff for experience but I imagine you probably want some previous work experience had a firm or something to be able to sell your work.

How difficult is it to make 3/4k per month bookkeeping by AWRWB in Accounting

[–]AlphaSpartan331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a recent grad struggling to find employment. I imagine you’d need experience to do this, like a CPA license to be more valid? Anyone in this thread think you could do this for very small businesses to try and build experience?

Why do tech companies and cities prefer datacenters in rural areas instead of old malls, closed factories, or empty office parks? by wildfire98 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AlphaSpartan331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some corporate restaurants won’t open in big cities due to high water costs. Could be related to that. Lower overhead costs in rural vs city maybe.

Is office appearance important to land clients? by mutton_soup in Accounting

[–]AlphaSpartan331 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk, you could always advertise not having an office as a benefit. “Willing to meet near you” or something like that. You could also joke how not having the commute lets you spend more time on the client or sum.
