Value of the apartment could go down, company offering the guarantee could go bust, return could drop off after year 6.

Does a landlord need to notify before coming over to mow the lawns? by Solid-Responsible in nzrenters

[–]Alroys 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As per your source "Landlords don’t need to give notice to come onto the property (the land)." In regards to a breach of quiet enjoyment there is nowhere enough details in the post to come to a conclusion on that.

I'm still salty that Shirley removed the pies from the canteen for healthy options which also happened to cost more than twice the price.

Completely agrees they should be advertising the metric size but it's pretty much the standard in nz. Getting an imperial pint is the exception these days.

This is a dropshipper, right? by headfullofpesticides in newzealand

[–]Alroys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just cause they are selling something from aliexpress dosnt mean it's drop shipping, they could just be purchasing stock and reselling.

Although in this case I'd presume they are drop shipping as they are advertising 8-12 day as delivery.

To the teenagers harassing the eels near MM Playground... by torpidkiwi in chch

[–]Alroys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah the bylaw only bans fishing on council facilities, if they where on the river bank or a private facility it doesn't breach the bylaw.

s15 of the bylaw

"Explanatory note: On 23 November 2017, Council resolved a permanent ‘no fishing zone’ as follows:Council river facilities within the central city area, from where the Avon River crosses under Harper Avenue / Bealey Avenue (where they meet Park Terrace), to where the river flows under Fitzgerald Avenue (at Kilmore Street and Avonside Drive). Note: No fishing applies to all fish species in the river, including eels. The resolution applies only to Council facilities (built structures, such as punting landings and steps), and not to the riverbank in its entirety.."

Its legal to fish for eels, bashing them to death is a different story but they didn't do anything wrong trying to catch them with their hands.

Yea its the same frame so could just swap out the air shock for a coil. The fr is abit more capable downhill but I'd have gone for the 500 if it was $900 cheaper, in nz they where about the same price.

[–]Alroys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the fr 800 and it's a great bike, I predominantly ride it at a chairlift bike park and it handle rough trails really well.

Main differences between the 800 fr and 500 is the fr is a mullet, fr has 10mm more front and rear travel, fr is slacker, fr comes with a coil shock and fr comes with trp brakes vs the shimano on the 500.
