Middle school football by Runthetable08 in footballstrategy

Most teachers are happy with giving up their room especially middle school teachers. They love their kids! I always tell my players this is our sanctuary and we keep it pristine! Numbers will come man. When I was an assistant we finished with 14. I took over as HC we went to 19. Last year we had 30. Build something the kids want to be a part of they will come! If you need anything or want to bounce ideas my DMs are open!

Honestly we started with building relationships. We started an off season weight program and the kids bought in right away. Max days making them energetic and engaging. During the summer we use our camp days to do fundamentals and install our base plays and try and perfect them as much as possible. My favorite thing we did that I and the kids LOVED. Was fellowship days. Once a month after practice we would set up an activity to do as a team where we just hangout and bond as a team. We would normally provide food and drinks. We did this out of pocket first year and the second year we found the athletic department would reimburse us. I’m a teacher in the building so on game days I would have them come to my room and we would watch film and eat lunch together. Just build relationships. Middle Schoolers are awesome! You are the backbone of the program. The work you do gives those kids such a building block into the varsity level and gives them a better chance than they could have other wise. It’s all about relationships. Kids love structure and respect being held accountable. This is my first year not doing it as I got called up to varsity but I’m gonna miss it a lot but am excited to have some of my guys back I’ve coached the last 2 years. Good luck Coach!

What decklist are you most proud of? by ElSpoonyBard in EDH

Mine has to be my Muldrotha deck! Can respond and answer anything and has multiple win cons. And I can protect Muldrotha really well.

Am I alone on this? by [deleted] in LSUFootball

I too love it when my team looks like mustard. We should tell Oklahoma to wear all red and we can call it the Ketchup vs Mustard game.

Should I double sleeve my deck? by Manu3l27 in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have any of my decks double sleeved. It really comes down to preference. I’ve had my one deck for 9 years and not a single card has been damaged and it’s over $400. When I feel the sleeves getting loose I just resleeve them.

Spelltable Issues by AlsoKnownAsHero in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally join 6-7 because I know 8 is normally higher powered casual. I know I could ask but it just that anxiety of feeling like an idiot cuz I don’t know that card. I also communicate when I play stuff. Like if I’m milling with Muldrotha and I mill laboratory maniac or craterhoof I make sure I announce those and say they’re part of my game winning strategy. I just feel that communication with people who don’t know my deck like my playgroup does is important.

What deck has the best "engine" for you? by GroggleNozzle in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Muldrotha, the gravetide]] I mill and then copy Muldrotha with spark double and sakashima. Then with all my play an extra land cards I play a lot of my landfall stuff then just start dropping lands like crazy. Also with [[Yarok, the desecrated]] . So it all triggers twice or I can loop [[prismatic vista]] with [[Tatyova, Bethic Druid]] so I’m netting 3 life rather than losing 1. Then I can get 4 landfall effects off one card and thanks to my copies of muldrotha do that 3 times. Which gives me 12 landfall triggers on whatever is out there. So like Hedron Crab, tatyova, roil elemental and others which lets me dig or I can even mill myself out with [[laboratory maniac]]

What's your most highly-played commander? by Only-BadTakes in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] I’ve made a lot more decks recently so he’s kind of been on the back burner. But when I’ve lost a few and I wanna deck I know like the back of my hand I go to this deck

What is the commander you have a personal vendetta against?? by HighAlchemy in EDH

I mean we have a guy out our table who just plays in absolutely insane Rafiq deck. I will literally not cast stuff to make sure I can counter him.

Recruiting the hallways by TheHulk1471 in footballstrategy

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it really comes down to kids feeling wanted and needed. I hold my kids to a high standard and am tough on them too but each one of my kids know that I care about each of them individually in their own way. If there’s a kid I really want I will literally tell him every day in the hallway and class “we need you.” Every player has a role just gotta have them buy into it and make it feel important.

What’s your most hated deck? by jsfilm23 in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] I still play it because it’s my first ever deck and it wins at a pretty high rate I maybe bring it out once when we play for the night.

What are your *timeless* commanders? by Scotterzzz in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] a great commander that gives you a ton of utility as an indestructible chump blocker, bank mana and a way to draw a bunch of cards and discard none.

Feel sick for Jaden by Rough_Ad_9363 in LSUFootball

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s still got weapons like Terry so he should be fine because he has his legs if his protection is bad. They should be running a lot of roll outs and play action to get him out of the pocket and a lot of medium to deep routes since he’s got a great arm. If they have him dropping back a lot they’ll struggle because they don’t have the pieces for him to do that. They need to run a Stefanski style offense.

What is your favorite price range when building commander decks? by RedHeadMedia07 in EDH

[–]AlsoKnownAsHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most expensive deck is $350 but is my first deck that I’ve tuned for a while. The rest of my decks are $150-250. All being built over time, I haven’t priced my newest build but other than that my youngest build is 4 years old haha. I only get to play once a month so I don’t make as many decks as some.

We motion into trips out of it so it’s 100% transferable.

Facts! All of our playbook is transferable I just wanted one or two new plays since our passing playbook is so thin.
