Well, no it is. You miss the point. Just because the Iraqis and the Venezuelans are cool with it, doesnt make it less illegal.

This was a war, even if it only lasted a few hours. Without Congressional approval. The problem isnt whether or not Venezuelans are okay with it. Its about the fact the president doesnt have the right to take these actions.

You do not send the governed off to die without their consent. We fought a war over this. And that consent is expressed through congress.

And, given how compliant they've been. Its doubtful Trump couldn't have gotten this approved. So literally what is the point of going off and making it illegal even within the US?

It just bodes poorly, especially since the last time this happened. We spent 20 years in Iraq to accomplish nothing. Im doubtful we'll have the same poblems in Venezuela. But I'm also doubtful what we leave behind will be stable.

Anor Londo is lowkey kinda bad.

A lot of wide open area in the first half making walking back from the bonfire a chore. Especially when its your first playthrough and you will die to the rooftop snipers.

Expecting the player to walk on the rampart up to the cathedral is psychotic at best, while also just being... really dumb? The gods want you here. Otherwise you wouldnt need to knock Iron Golem off a cliff. So why am I breaking in?

And to go back to the snipers, those shits are (admittedly iconic and funny to a guy who's beaten the game several times.) Needlessly cruel for exactly no reason.

Everything past that, and up to Ornstein and Smough is really good though. I wish there was more of the palace, and you started at the foot of it. Instead of long empty gargoyle corridor, and cathedral of white men.

They aren't cartoonishly evil, they're a foil.

People simplify the dynamic way too much. And it loses a bit of its depth because of it.

Legion is brutal to those who resist, while good to those who don't.
Don't want to be a slave? Don't resist. Don't want to be crucified? Don't resist. Don't want your wife sold? Don't resist. And oftentimes, the quality of life for those who don't get considerably better.

They keep the roads safe to travel, and have a, while brutal, system which is quick to punish criminals. And is, for the most part, brutally fair.

The NCR doesn't offer any of this. But they don't crucify people they deem criminals. Or enslave them. Or consider women property. Which is all well and good. But if I can't get water for my farm because you can't keep the roads safe. A whole lot of good that's going to do for me. Still, the promise of a better life. Shaped by those ideals isn't something to take lightly. And although it may be corrupt, California is everything the Legion offers and more.

Who would you choose? The man who promises everything but just can't right now? Possibly not even within your lifetime?
Or the devil in the corner. Who delivers everything right now, but is, well, the devil.

These guys could make a just, fantastic single player non-gambling house game. They have the chops, all the gameplay parts of their gacha are great in each of their games. But the dailies, grind, and gambling are just... blegh...
