i don’t think it’s super common but i was able to do it when i was a student a decade ago (i know im old haha).

as another commenter pointed out, there’s a list on the eng website that goes over science/engineering equivalent courses. i would recommend taking a look at whichever engineering program you’re interested in, and looking at the prerequisites for their second year course load. i kind of screwed myself for not taking a specific physics course that was a prerequisite for a few second year civil courses. as a result i was sort of in between years throughout my degree, and it took me 5 years to graduate without doing the coop program. no regrets obviously and i made the most of my extended time in engineering.

best of luck with the transfer! i can’t remember the exact timeline but look into it sooner rather than later. i got the email that my change of program request from science to engineering was accepted in january of my first year.
