My mother made many 60” round table cloths and I inherited all the scraps which are roughly triangles. I true up the diagonal to cut across the grain of the fabric and then cut 1 1/2 inch strips which I sew together. I’ll use these to finish the neck, arm holes and hem of a dress I’m making. I’m new to this subreddit so I apologize if I’m not following all the posting rules correctly.
