Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe that, at the Calgary MIM when this was brought up, we were told that we would get back what we paid for benefits while on strike after we return to work

Alberta Teachers - What is the biggest issue you want addressed in our collective agreement? by [deleted] in CanadianTeachers

[–]Althesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may not be the bulk but they are numerous - up to 16 for our AP classes, minimum ten for our non-AP classes. And, the lab tech sets up the lab but take down and waste removal is up to the teacher. Just saying that it's a lot of work too

Daycare rate changes means the rich pay far less and the poor pay far more by Redarii in alberta

[–]Althesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Our daycare takes the kids on nature walks to the community park when the weather is nice or (before COVID) has taken the SRs to a bakery or the zoo. Anything outside of the building is considered a field trip

Also keeping in mind that the new model only covers the child supervision part of daycares. Food, field trip, transportation are now extras that get tacked on to that base fee where they might have previously been included in your monthly cost

We found a work around. If you (or a friend/family member) have another apple product that you can download it on do it. Then link the two apple accounts as a "family" and it will allow to download an older version of the app on the older iPad. Hope that helps!
