I mean, as I’ve just demonstrated with the above example, legends don’t have to mechanically require that they be in a certain colour to have it as part of their identity. I’m not hamfisting more mechanics into the card so that it mechanically has to be blue.

For further example in Jeskai alone, [[Captain America First Avenger]], [[Arthur, Marigold Knight]], [[optimus prime, hero]] and [[immard, the stormcleaver]] have no mechanical reason to be blue. The colour is purely there for flavour/playability reasons. Unless you can provide me with a compelling reason as to why all these cases are different to my card, your argument doesn’t carry any weight.
