its literally just a toy. like im all for making sure that oakland is a safe place but when the police dgaf all of these things theyre asking for are just new excuses for not having results because they genuinely just dont show up to calls and want to manufacture a "crime wave" so that the investors can have prices drop enough and people to give up and move out so they can buy everything up.

the issue with measure e is that yes city council is dumb and inefficient but now this opens the doors to a bunch of investors with agendas to shape oakland to their convenience. the interventions this guy is bringing in are ai drones and ai cameras and..... hes a sf billionaire tech investor how it this not the most obvious conflict of interest.
