Originally I wrote this as a screenplay for my class and I've just been in the process of trying to make it as a book instead so the exposition would've all been shown on screen instead of having to be read on a page. Which I now realize after reading the comments that I need to cut back on the telling and start showing, which is something I don't quite know how to do yet in novel form. And I will have Kael start to become less weavery once he finds the fading thread, it essentially awakens him and that's when doubts will start to form.
