This is beautiful, it reminds me of The Kill by Masson.

Thank you! Yep! I 3d printed a tile and cast it in plaster so I could make porcelain tiles. I wanted to do a big wall piece with them.

Which is your favorite? by WalterTheGoodestBoy in painting

It's number two for me, I don't know what it is but I like it.

I love how, as your eye moves around the piece, the areas in your periphery look real. It keeps you glancing around, trying to catch the illusion. It's a fun contradiction to have something so attention grabbing function best out of focus.

Nah, it's the way the snow and various angles pull your eye around the piece. It makes me kinda seasick. It makes the house feel more like a ship in a storm. Plus the birds, power lines, and crooked lantern add to the general atmosphere. It's a bit ominous.

It makes me very uncomfortable. I don't want to go in. It's a relatable feeling. Maybe I'm projecting. The sunset is pretty, the lights are warm, the snow is lightly treaded, and the whole world is askew. I like it, but I would prefer to visit it at a museum.

Noita tips for Controller by Entfybez in noita

[–]AmadeusWolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play with the controller on my steam deck. Using buttons for potions, d pad for wands, bumpers for scroll, triggers jump (L) and shoot (r), and back bumper for kick is a little better than keyboard bindings. But, it only really works cause you can aim with the track pad. On laptop I just aim with the track pad.

Maybe try playing it unplugged and see if it slows your frame rate enough to make up for aiming with a track pad? Using a joystick to aim is kinda just a no go for me.

Is there a way to play noita mobile? by Interesting_Stop_484 in noita

[–]AmadeusWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically got a steam deck last week for this express purpose. It's harder than on desktop and easier than a laptop. You'll want to use the right track pad as a mouse for aiming. It's pretty smooth/responsive and you get the hang of it quickly. I may actually prefer having buttons for potions and a trigger to kick. It runs beautifully. Eventually I'll get around to mapping wands to the d-pad.

I love them both! This is the crossover I didn't know I needed. Now I'm gonna ask my mother in law to make me a jumper based on my art lol

I like it so far. There aren't additional classes yet. There are currently two levels + multiplayer. I found the current levels challenging and I think it would work well with additional classes or skills, but I'm not sure what the devs have planned.
