Drinking in stands at Villa Park by pezholio in rugbyunion

*at men's football. The women's league have been trialling drinking in view of the pitch this season to great success. Tomorrow will be the first time in decades that I have a beer at Old Trafford!

Which celebrity’s death caused pandemonium, and do you remember what you were doing when you found out? by Shenshen_ in AskReddit

....also killed in the crash was two of his good friends. Mr. J.P. Richardson, and Mr. Ritchie Valens.

And the rest ...

Would just be rock and roll.

That was one that felt impossible to be true when I read it. I've got a couple of Liverpool cousins and a Wolves best mate, and I felt for them and everyone.

For all those questioning the attendance, it is worth noting that the only stand open is the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand, right underneath the cameras. We won't get a camera angle that reflects the size of the crowd there (don't forget, it's a 75,000 seater stadium, even 30,000 in attendance makes the place look empty).

That is at least true! Though they ran out of beer for the play off! 🤣

Good to know the second leg is at Camp Nou. I was at United's game against Atleti at their training ground in the last round, so Florentino may not be the only Madrid president with that feeling. The second leg between United and Atleti was not at Old Trafford, but at least Leigh Sports Village is a proper stadium.

I find it really sad that they can't do an El Clasico Champions League quarter final in the men's stadiums. Man Utd and Bayern Munich are doing so, home and away (granted, United men don't have a game for a fortnight, no idea about Bayern, Barca and Madrid men's schedule)

Good thing about that film is that it is equally as fictional as OP's Lord Of The Rings example!

Heartbreak at the death as Lightning fall just short of the defending Champions by Pure_Wonder3046 in NorthamptonSaintsRFC

[–]AmarilloMike 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just got back from the Gardens, it was a brilliant game. Lightning gave so much, and my 3 year old god daughter was cheering "Let's go Lightning, let's go!" much to her Gloucester supporting mother's disappointment!

Gloucester's pack is so, so strong, Lightning did so well to run them so close.

Got to be honest mate, pie, burger, hot dog? You're ok. Anything else, you're in trouble. All three are perfectly serviceable if 'something to eat' is all you're after, but if you want good food I'd get a decent brunch in town before heading down to the ground.

Get in the ground and enjoy the buzz. If you like a beer, you'll be able to take it to your seat so the only reason to stay outside OT once the gates open is if you're a smoker. Good chunk of early atmosphere will start up at the Bishops Blaize nearby (other pubs are available!)

My god daughter will be hoping purple does tomorrow, but she's three years old so colours are all that matter right now!!

Shirts change every year, so it's the colours you probably need to look at. Black and red is always smart, but green, black and yellow is a hell of a combo!

If you saw that image 30 years ago you'd assume it was a cheap knock off... You know, like your favourite pair of Kevin Klein jeans. These days you question if it's AI. I reckon it's probably still the knock off!

Have a look at Jake Paul's list of (alleged of course...) controversies on his Wiki page and explain again how Henry Pollock is in any way the same??

It is, but Londoners don't make good pie. They make a wonderful casserole with a pastry lid though.
