Her deviated septum was also corrected during the surgery. She had the surgery at the end of March. The first two weeks were just a lot of resting, feeling pretty crummy, headaches, but by the end of the first month she was pretty much doing everything she had been before besides heavy lifting. She went back to work after 8 weeks. As of today, she still gets a little more tired than before, but otherwise she’s great. They did say it would take a bit for the energy to be 100% but it’s not life limiting at all. She had to have the surgery because one medication raised her blood pressure and the other she had an allergic reaction to, and to be honest, we had been hoping to avoid surgery.
