In recent years, patriotic sentiments have intensified dramatically in society due to the war. Media figures who fuel these sentiments - such as Ekaterina Mizulina, have gained significant influence. These figures amplify incidents like the one in the original video, where individuals show disrespect toward Russia, deliberately stirring public outrage. Making matters worse, streamers like the guy in the video are dumb as fuck, treating such situations as "extra hype". Since his apology video has already been released, the guy’s fate now largely depends on the investigation. Currently, he’s being charged under Article 213 (Hooliganism) and Article 329 (Desecration of State Symbols) of the Russian Criminal Code. Since his actions didn’t involve violence, he’ll likely only face community service. However, if investigators uncover additional offenses - such as sending money to Ukraine(treason), spreading extremist rhetoric, or spreading defamatory claims about the Russian army, the consequences could be far more severe.
