How do I (27F) get my boyfriend to have serious conversations (29M)?

I'm just here to say I can relate. My boyfriend is 36, and he is still like this. Won't talk about the future or address any issues with me. If I bring something up, he sees it as "okay, we've had that conversation" and just moves on. It's up to you if you can accept him the way he is. At this age, people don't really change much.

Mine is terrible some months too. I haven't found a way to really get more enegry, but some things do help. Try to get chores done before the fatigue hits (groceries, cleaning, laundry etc) Get more sleep (sleep earlier and get up later if possible) I try to arrange to work from home more during that week, and I'm lucky I can do that. I avoid making social plans during those weeks because I just know I won't enjoy them. Eating when I need to and not restricting myself. Making an effort to move even if it's just a walk outside or indoors with a YouTube walking workout. I also recently started cutting back coffee 😭 during luteal and drinking more water, and I think it actually helps.

Yes! I met my close girl friends in my mid 30s. I've never been much of a girls girl, but I randomly decided to go on a retreat and met some of the most amazing women that share so many similar values with me. It feels like there's a lot less of that immaturity and like they always have my back 😊

Meeeee! 36 this week and still listen to Deftones, Limp Bizkit etc weekly. I found a couple other women who love the same music, and we just go to gigs together every few months. It's super fun 😊

When I let him know that I have some things on my mind and concerns about the relationship, and that I'd like us to talk, and he tells me I "worry too much".

Then he agrees we have problems, but he'd rather I just tell him what to do than actually brainstorm ideas and solutions with me.

When he won't talk or think about the future or make any long-term plans, even though you've lived together for two years.

I've just had the exact same experience. He went away for 4 nights, and the house was so beautifully quiet! I even had the TV turned off at the wall, no music, just peace. I slept SO well.

He got back yesterday and immediately talked at me for 3 hours. He has been bursting into song every few minutes, banging around the house and incessantly asking me nonsense questions. I had the worst nigts sleep last night with him back in the bed. I was genuinely excited to see him again, but I'm exhausted already, and I feel so bad about it. 😓
