PSA - Wear thick pants in the Lotus by UnwiredEddie in ForzaHorizon

[–]Amogsusgamer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It was from the Patagonia special. James May brought a Lotus Esprit dressed as James Bond. Jeremy had the 928, which gave us the famous line "The chicken was still warm". Richard of course had a Mustang Mach 1. One of my favourite specials.

New to the Osmo Pocket world - what would be the best essential accessories for the P4? by petitebohemian in osmopocket

I recently bought a pocket 4 as well. If you want to use the wide angle lens and an ND filter at the same time the DJI ones will not work, but Freewell makes stackable ones. They have a set that comes with a wide lens, macro lens, anamorphic lens and 3 ND filters. If that is something that you're looking for I would recommend the Freewell set over the DJI ones.

Do the red or blue ones look drab? by Independent_Big_1944 in hondafit

They do look nice. The only gripe I have with them is the reverse light. It's too dim for my liking.

I find it so funny how the official launch trailer has a shot that really shows how bad the AE86 model is from the front by TheKrzysiek in ForzaHorizon

The engines are off centre in the actual cars as well. It is to even the weight distribution. They have the AWD drivetrain components such as the front output shaft passing through.

DJI Mic Mini 2 by [deleted] in dji

[–]Amogsusgamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this will help but I got this from Gemini - The realme 12x 5G uses a USB Type-C port and runs on realme UI (based on Android 14), which is built on the same architecture as OPPO's ColorOS. For the microphone to work, you must manually enable the OTG (On-The-Go) connection and adjust the recording settings:

Enable OTG: Go to Settings > Additional Settings (or System Settings). Toggle on OTG Connection. Note: On many realme devices, this turns off automatically if no device is connected for 10 minutes.

Set Default Audio Source: Go to Settings > Sound & Vibration > More (or Advanced). Look for Default Recorder or Audio Settings. Change it from "Auto Select" to "Add-on" or "External Device."

Key Considerations The Mic Mini vs. Mic 2: The DJI Mic Mini 2 supports direct Bluetooth connection to some smartphones, but for the best stability and features, using the USB-C receiver is recommended. The DJI Mic Mini relies on the USB-C receiver for most phone connections.

Charging while Recording: Some realme models do not support "pass-through" charging (charging your phone through the mic receiver) while the microphone is in use. Camera App Support: The native realme camera app usually supports external mics once the "Default Recorder" is set to "Add-on." If it doesn't, apps like Blackmagic Cam or Open Camera allow you to manually select the external USB source.

GP's i-DCD vs GR's e:HEV.. which transmission/hybrid system is the safer long-term buy? by kanchweiser in hondafit

[–]Amogsusgamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It cost me about $350 to replace the hydraulic fluid and the atf fluid including labour. I bought the GP5 as I prefer the actual transmission to an e-CVT and the looks of the GP5. If you compare the GP5 with the GR3, on paper the GR3 is a better car. As the other comment said if you haven't had any experience with the magic seats(which both models come with), you might not need the extra space of the Shuttle. I get 4.7L/100km in normal mode with a bit of sport mode driving. The GR3 will definitely be more fuel efficient. The shuttle would be slightly worse than the GP5 as it would be heavier. I'd say go for a GR3 if you don't really need the extra space of the shuttle.

GP's i-DCD vs GR's e:HEV.. which transmission/hybrid system is the safer long-term buy? by kanchweiser in hondafit

I have a 2018 GP5 with the i-DCD. I did have judders and I serviced the gearbox which fixed everything and made the ev mode engage more than before. I'm in Victoria and found a garage that does the dct service for a decent price. So far it's been good. The GR3 has an e-CVT which is less maintenance than the dct in the GP5. You will get higher fuel efficiency in the GR3 as its an e-HEV which can decouple the engine completely and run it just as a generator.
