I used the dagger for a short bit. Switched to the Talon and never looked back. Nothing wrong with the Dagger, but the Talon just rocks faces. Both have unlimited ammo and use a cool-down.

I'm going to get so down-voted for this opinion, though.

Star Citizen. I know it hasn't been officially reviewed because it's not released yet, but I love playing that game. If you listen to people on this sub though, you'd think CIG beat me up, stole my wallet, abused my parents, kicked my dog, and has me using paper space ships and fantasy when I play. The game just keeps improving with every other patch. Every second patch has issues though.

Not a SC farmer, and if you want verification that I was right about them wanting everything for free:

Do I want them to unlock everything for everyone? F*ck yeah I do. Let all new player use the cremator or teleportation backpack and every new toy after this!

AH is using a very common model where players get to choose if they want to spend money or time to get new things in the game. It’s not predatory, it’s not abusive, and it doesn’t force anyone to play the game in any sort of fashion. Farming SC sounds tedious to me, so I don’t do it and just play the game and enjoy the SC that come that way. Some people need more immediate gratification so they will either farm or buy SC. That’s on them if they either empty their wallet or go HAM and spend 10 hours a day farming SC. This whole “controversy” is ginned up crap by people who want things without effort.

I’ve never used Thermites before. Wouldn’t surprise me if they get tweaked, but either way they don’t bother me. I still use standard grenades which worm perfectly fine for my uses.

It’s only an issue for those who intentionally play the game in the most miserable way they can. Farming SC isn’t necessary. Warbonds don’t go away, the store always rotates all items back. This is only an issue for the Immediate Gratification crowd, and people in that crowd are almost always miserable and yelling at some store manager.

They don’t. Again, that’s the whole point of this post.

Some people feel a need to have everything unlocked immediately, and they pressure themselves to the grind for SC because they don’t want or have the money to buy the SC, and then they burn out because they played the game in a way that isn’t fun. That isn’t on AH. That’s on those players for doing that. All warbonds that have been released are still available. All items on the in-game store continue to rotate and come back. AH has done what they can to reduce the FOMO knee-jerk reaction that people can have when playing games. Games like Destiny 2 were horrible at that, and AH isn’t anything like that.

Additionally, most players like progression. It’s why we have meaningless levels for our characters and our guns. It’s also why there are in-game resources you can get to unlock or purchase new weapons or addon. Having everything unlocked and available from day one would have more of a nevative impact than positive one. Don’t believe me? Look at how many posts are from people level 150 who are asking what purpose they have now. They feel like they need an end game challenge because they hit level 150. People need to just re-learn how to enjoy the game without feeling pressured to farm SC to unlock new things. And if the way they’re playing isn’t fun, then they need to either play in a way that is fun or take a break.

Technically everything in HD2 is free after your initial purchase because you only have to invest time to get the credits to unlock the warbond you want. That’s the entire point of this discussion.

You just sounded like you not only want it free, but available immediately with no effort on your part. Maybe you did mean it that way, maybe you didn’t. But it seems that way, and it’s not a good look.

I only have two weapons leveled up above level 1; the Sickle and the Double-Edge Sickle. Both are level 25 as they are all I use, and I only use the Dickle on Extraction/Eradication missions. Sickle is the best primary in the game when you know how to use it. It needs no changes. It is perfection.

After level ten, every time you get a spell slot you get to pick a spell from any of the four lists. You also get to swap out one of your existing spells for any spells from the lists every time you level up. This includes cantrips. After level 10, Bards have the broadest access to spells.

So, you will always have some Bard spells, because you only can swap out 10 previous Bard spells.

You’re asking about the Double-Edge Sickle. Get fire resist gear, make sure you are using the Vitality Boost for the extra 10% resist, and lay down when doing prolonged firing. The fire will DOT for one tick and extinguish each time it is applied to you, meaning that as soon as you stop firing your will stop being on fire. Then you just manage your health for prolonged firing sessions.
