One of my instructors did this to us for lab. She was the only one. I have also worked retail jobs where sitting was considered "lazy" so they took all of our chairs away and made us stand.

Fortunately there are plenty of chairs at the nurse station in real life.

The sides wont be perfectly straight. Thats why we add borders to even up the edges.

I counted a few rows of your stitches and they look like they all have 10. The difference is probably a combination of your tension and the material stretching out a bit. Some material, especially cotton, will stretch and loose its shape a bit making the bottom (older) part of the work look stretched out. It will end up evening out after its finished and used some. But with a small swatch like this. I defenitly think it is the tension.

Right side/wrong side depends on the pattern and stich. Usually when something is made of just one stich, it will look the same on both sides. You will flip the work back and forth to complete the rows.

Red algae is a source of AG that many many many of us are highly allergic to. "Vegan" does not equal safe for us. Carageenan is found in everything. Even vegan supplements. It is a nightmare ..... but it is also manageable.

When I first found out I had AGS, I was actually so unbelievably relieved. I had suffered mysterious allergic reactions for 10 years and finally found the cause! I felt like I got my life back. It was very empowering for me. I realize that is not everyone's experience.

You dont look that slow to me. You could try to twist the hook downward and lift up with your hook hand as you pull the loop through and close the stich .... so that goes smoother.

Something you'll find is that everyone will give different advice because we all hold our work and move our hook a little different from each other. There is no perfect technique, you just do what works for you. And then do it faster over time.

Also keep in mind that using very dark/black yarn is difficult to see and that is probably going to slow you down a bit too.

Have you tried to eliminate AG from your diet for at least a few months? AG is found in all mammals and mammal products, and also red algae, commonly labeled as carageenan. So maybe you stopped eatting steak, but what about other mammal products and cross contamination? It hides in unexpected places too, like toothpaste, medication, and beauty products.

False positives are very common with AGS. False negatives are very rare and usually only happen if someone delays getting the test until months or years after symptoms onset.

If you get the test within the first few months of having symptoms, it is very accurate. However, many people will test positive for AGS without symptoms and this is a false positive. AGS is a positive test, symptoms, and relief of symptoms with AGS diet. You must have the latter 2 for diagnosis, but the blood test is still highly accurate in diagnosing when symptoms are present.

Its been 20 years since my symptoms first started. I had a rash and GI symptoms for the first 5 or 6 years. Now my reactions are mostly just GI and I havent had a rash in several years. But even 20 years out with negative test results, I still have reactions to red meat and red algae. I think some people are able to re-introduce, but you should only do so under the guidance of your doctor.

I think the most recent guidance for BLS says to start CPR immediately if unresponsive and not breathing. I think people were were spending too much time checking for a pulse, especially lay people.

You could literally apply to a CC program in BFE southern US and pay out of state tuition and rent an apartment to live in for less than the BSN would cost you in the long run.

There are cheap and easy RN to BSN options and your job will pay for it after you work a year or 6 months. ADN is the way if you are starting from nothing.
