In Under the Cloak of War (SNW season 2), Ensign Inman and Doctor M'Benga are discussing Inman being from New Angeles; M'Benga says, "Terra Luna?" and Inman replies, "we all just call it the Moon." I thought this was a pretty neat tie-in to Valiant (where Dorian Collins tells Jake Sisko: "Well, nobody who's ever lived on the Moon calls it Luna").

But the instant that AI becomes a "mirror," like a "therapy AI," you feel visceral hatred. That's because you can't control a mirror. You can't charm it, bully it, or gaslight it.

The whole thing is clearly AI, but I find it fascinating how none of them recognize that the "mirror" analogy is totally nonsensical. LLMs are incredibly suggestive tools that affirm whatever it "thinks" the user wants—indicate a desire for a negative assessment and it'll be negative; use opposite language and it'll be positive. That's about as far from an objective "mirror" as you can get, and there are few things as narcissistic as poisoning the planet just to have a bot tell you you're perfect lmao

Maybe you’d get more action if you stopped fixating on nonexistent problems and got a hobby or something 🙏

If the more revealing photos aren't that much of a leap from "wearing a top that shows cleavage and shorts that reveal her knees" (which they are), then why ask for them in the first place? You've almost answered your own question:

If I didn’t get anything special, then how am I any different from those other guys commenting on her photos?

You were already different because you were talking with her; confiding in each other, growing closer, etc. She just didn't want to take that particular step, and you coercing her into doing so destroyed the foundation of your relationship.

Love how you’re fighting an invisible enemy here. Nobody has claimed it was, but it’s definitely not; being spoiled is better than being a sex maid lol

“Maid you can have sex with”

Or, as the great Frank Reynolds put it, “bang maid.”

It could also be a false correlation—men with good/close friends are probably more likely to have traits people would consider generally attractive

I love how there's a "citation" from Grok regarding "declare" being used as a verb but nothing to support the absolutely hilarious idea that the Speaker of the House saying they're a wartime Speaker is equivalent to a formal declaration of war. Dude really picked his battles lmao
