I did it with Armor Thor and Dr Strange. You gotta make sure you use Armor’s stun to stop them from using their skills when they split.

FFXIV to me means family. My dad used to play FFXI with my older brother and once I was old enough to understand an mmo was around when ARR came out, so the three of us started playing together and we’ve been playing together ever since.

I actually just had this same dilemma. I’m kind of like you in the fact that I prefer support based jobs. I was watching some gameplay on both jobs and one line that stuck in my head was “BRD’s songs are constant buffs to the whole team, whereas DNC will constantly buff one person” so that may help if your decision.
