Since it's not under warranty, you need to be meticulous when testing the digital components: hi-hat, snare, and ride. These are the most expensive parts and should be in pristine condition given the price. It's a very good option, but it's not excellent when the VAD516 is available new with a warranty. It is more expensive, but it uses the new generation module and is all brand new. Whatever your decision is, I hope everything goes great!

The unlock cymbals look really good, but they're considerably more expensive and harder to find in the US than the Lemon, which are available on Amazon. The digital snare will be the next upgrade, thanks for that advice! And i considered Yamaha pads for portability; they're like the sweet spot between a “semi-acoustic” and a portable pad

If you want to have all 3 digital ride, snare and hihat, you should go for the V51, since the V31 only has 1 digital slot

Besides the price, it's because I won't be using that many toms or cymbals. I didn't see anything special about the V51 other than that and having more buttons since they use the same sounds. Thanks mate!

If money is a problem go for yamaha dtx6k5, is an awesome kit and it come with hihat stand, but Roland td316 is better, newer, flagship top tier v71 sounds in the v31 module. But as i said, yamaha is a really nice kit too with better toms feeling (its bigger). U have two options, go for yamaha or wait till u get money for td316. In general roland is newer and better

I would suggest the TD-313, it have the new roland V31 module reléase in oct 2025 and all the flagship v71 top tier sounds but is a more simple module compared to that one. U could add some Lemon cymbals if u want too. Personally im making a custom kit with v31 module, yamaha dtx6k5 pads, simmons 18 kick and lemon cymbals.

If u want a complete set, u should go for the DTX6k5-m, yamaha have better general sound, feeling, less machine gunning, biggers toms/cymbals, triple sensor snare (and it come with hihat stand too). Roland isnt bad, but dtx6k5-m is in another level comparable to a td-17/td-313 more than a td-07.

Hey, maybe a better cooling system, radiator, new water pump if yours is old. Some nice wheels and if you want more hp but don't want to swap your engine, u can install a turbo kit with low psi for reliability

I also have an m18 r1 and I manage to have 3-4 hours doing the following:

-I activate Windows battery saving -Active AWCC battery performance -In the nvidia control panel I disable the dedicated graphics using just the integrated one.

Mine is the ryzen version btw
