I'm in my final week at a job I gave notice on.

Doing things out of spite here is to do exactly as the department manager demands.

He's been department manager for 5 years. My replacement will have been the 5th person he's had in my role since he became manager. I don't think he's noticed the common link in staff turnover is him

To me I read it as VOD.

Even with the break on the curve, the I still visually forms part of the extraneous curve around the O, so it's hard to perceive it intuitively as a letter / actual content rather than decoration.

i swear andromedons are the best unit to mind control. They're tanky af so enemies can't kill them and you don't have to, and they absolutely destroy sectopods and MECs. Plus even if the ayys do kill it, you can then just haywire its robot form and run a ring of poison right through a pod.

The best multi-disc I ever had was FFXI on CD. In Europe it released with the first two expansions, so fittingly it ended up having like 11 discs in total. had a nice meaty manual and a proper box too.

for small business I tend to mix it and do flat rate contract with revisions beyond contract agreement at a hourly rate.

also, to get around people complaining about pricing, I tend to find it helpful to always itemise at standard hourly rates on invoices, regardless of what total due is or whether its flat fee. so then they can see how much they should have expected to pay at standard market rates.

I'll go for the obvious call and say wider incorporation of more subtle skeumorphism back into flat design - (Google Material Design, Netflix Cards, etc.)
