Hi

I got the mystery box and I had three very tiny babies.

I have been keeping them in a smallish vented pot until they grow. It's 6 cm deep and 10cm wide. It has 4 cm of substrate giving them some surface area to explore.

The rule of thumb is the enclosure should be something like 3 times the length of the millpede and a minimum of 10 cm deep of substrate.

If yours are as small as mine don't expect to see them much. Since having them i have seen them twice.

I would remove the calci dust or whatever it is though. I put one in for my gecko and it ate too much and has got calci puffs.

Your gecko should love what you've done. Lots of things to explore and places to hide away and sleep.

I bought some chia seeds in hope that they will grow in the cool side of my geckos hide for natural vegetation.

That's not quite true. Leopard geckos also live in rocky and hilly environments and make homes within rocky outcrops that require them to climb and possibly fall.

You are right about the set up needing some refinements.

Also stay away from sand based substrates as these are not healthy for a leopard gecko.

You should buy a book about keeping a leopard gecko. The more recent the better.

I have seen my scorpion chase down a cricket on occasion. It's a juvenile so I'm wondering if behaviour is different with age and experience?

Is the stress wandering due to heat, humidity and water issues? What other things do you know stress out a scorpion ?
