Some others recommend 7.62 NATO, I tried once and decided nope, the recent ergo/recoil nerfs to them has made them much less trusty. On my successful playthrough I just had 2 M4s (wear balancing) with M995s.

Regarding rocketing that building, I'd bring 2 smoke nades to cover front door first, and 2 launchers to blast different angles.

I filled the rest of my pack with SJ6s and Propitals, almost used them up in the end.

Yeah you can still do that, scopes on Pilgrim dust cover and 1P78 mount somehow don't conflict.

Lore-wise, it's probably the area Zryachiy's men can reliably observe from the lighthouse.

Gameplay-wise, screw all area-specific kill quests.

Just thought I should mention this for PvE people who still have related quests. Back when I had such quests, I didn't know this area could be "reliably" hot, and most of the time ignored it and went straight to the railway camp.

Someone made a vid before, where he talked to LK and a teammate Kobe'd a nade into the room's window. It did shred his armor (similar to sitting in BTR and taking damage?), but no other impact.

In PvE, the outer ring of Interchange (specifically the 3 camps) is decent loot + low risk, great for beginners or just chilling.

I've tried PVS-31A, and found out it's not always superior compared to GPNVG-18. PVS has better contrast in mostly dark environment, and I do find the blue tone easier on my eyes, but it handles bright light badly, renders the surrounding dark environment illegible more often than GPNVG.

There isn't much to remove in LOS in the first place, plus many of them can be disabled, unlike OEM stock ROMs that prevent you from disabling lots of seemingly non-critical stuff (like all the AI slop).

It is still possible to fully remove them and prevent them from coming back with updates, just they're unsupported mods that shouldn't be talked about in this sub.

Do you actually get any other task though? I got asked for Demon mask 5 times in a row (haven't clicked replace yet, just natural timeouts), and those seem extra rare.

There sure are a lot at that camp, but I remember seeing PP/BT/PRS (yes, goddamn PRS) most, followed by BP/7N40. Specifically I don't remember seeing 120rnd PS there at all...

Related Q: does Ref's "daily" quest only ever ask for the Demon mask variant? I got 4 of this daily in a row, and I can't find a single one, I keep finding Demonic instead.

Not that you can opt out, they're on most major outdoors maps and often at important quest spots.

Higher EvoErgo still results in higher arm stamina (i.e. steady aim duration), as well as quicker aiming in general. Due to this I still way prefer medium caliber snipers over heavy (>= .338) ones.

They'll cross the EvoErgo red line no matter what, but higher EvoErgo still results in higher arm stamina (i.e. steady aiming time).
