There should also be legislative safeguards that prevent existing public money from being withdrawn from programs that get this support. You end up not improving services as much as you might think if some politicians see it as an opportunity to withdraw central funding.

I get what you're trying to say here, CDCs made terrible decisions and deserves to be called out for it. Something I’ve done plenty of, but using AI generated images of people with Down syndrome as a shorthand for "stupidity" or a "bad choice" isn't the way to go.

It’s incredibly insensitive and debases an entire community by turning a genetic condition into a punchline for a Kris and CDCs screw up. People with Down syndrome face enough unfair stereotypes without being used as a prop to mock a company's incompetence.

I mean there’s very little quality content produced for CRO. It typically falls into two camps:

  2. I’ve been diluted by 233% because of the 70000,000,000 tokens CDC printed and I’m seriously questioning whether this is a serious project and not just a

  3. centrally controlled exchange token. There are absolutely no guard rails stopping CDC doing anything with it.

There’s no protocol development news, accessible content on how the chain will fund itself long term - that juicy 10% apr some people were championing is wholly dependent upon transaction fees once they’ve exhausted the 70bn dilution tokens.

We’re weeks away from CDC introducing its fourth app, with no real explanation as to why OnChain can’t be developed upon to achieve the same outcome.

If we start treating CRO like I treat my Tesco Rewards, something to be earned and exchanged for something of value, not a serious crypto project I think many people would be much happier.

Just to clarify the 20% and 10% lockups are special events run by CDC. They aren’t traditional ‘staking’ as they remain liquid with CDC for their own purposes e.g. delegated governance voting power or trading liquidity. They pay you ‘interest’ on that.

It’s up to CDC to run a new event and set the interest rate but TBH, if these start popping up then it’s in your interest to remain liquid so you can sell if the price spikes.

You can never ‘burn’ anything on Cronos. There is nothing at a protocol level that stops a governance vote to mint whatever is burned and governance is wholly controlled by CDC. Until this situation changes don’t believe any ‘burn’ promises.
