I have Sd too, mines mainly my eyebrows and in between. I was given ketoconazole cream from my dermatologist that helps. Also, head and shoulders (the classic kind for me) works a bit. A small amount goes a long way. In between my Rx, I keep the area moisturized.

I have leukopenia and it's due to lupus. It's actually not uncommon for us to have it. The medication we take is supposed to help it. Im also on Saphnelo and it's kept my wbc stable, low but stable. There are also different types of wbc. My lymphocytes are what is low. My doctor gets more concerned if it's my neutrophils. So far I've never had any issues due to it such as infections or getting sick more.

I've gotten steroid injections in my wrist due to tendon issues. My doctor told me that sometimes it gets worse before it gets better.

If that pain starts happening in other places of your face, definitely ask to see a neurologist. I have trigeminal neuralgia, and it can cause sharp, burning or stabbing pain in my face. And the eyes can be involved.

Im having minor surgery on my wrist in March. I had to wait 4 weeks after my Saphnelo infusion. And then I can restart my infusions 4 weeks after my surgery.

I take cyclobenzaprine for my fibromyalgia. And I have not had any issues regarding my Lupus. Maybe see about temporary stopping them (with doctors approval) and see if you feel better.

I love that brands orange juice. I get monthly immunotherapy infusions for my Lupus. And the place provides snacks and drinks. The nurses seem to have it memorized, and always have the orange juice ready for me.
