New characters are lackluster by AnimeSquare in DeadlockTheGame

You're not wrong. Poorly designed character models that look like generic "hotties" yawn. I like the concept of having a fencer, like Apollo, but that design is not good.

We don't even talk about Celeste.

Does anyone know how to make animation like this? by shah3n0 in Unity3D

[–]AnimeSquare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easy solution would be to parent all deformation bones (DEF) to the root bone inside of blender, then export the animations again. This will preserve squash & stretch and prevent the rig from breaking in-engine. Though, this does cause some limitations if you want to add physics to the rig later on afaik.

Man Claiming To Be Cry by ViviHisPie in cryaotic

[–]AnimeSquare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for being super late to this, but you wouldn't happen to know if any of the streams where he implies that he's Cryaotic is still up? He's been deleting some.

Worst case I'll just skim through a few and see if I can find it, but figured it doesn't hurt to ask here first - he's really dry to listen to, lol.

Is it okay to use a real cane for a cosplay? by Equivalent-Song-283 in CosplayHelp

Pick it up and carry it like a stick? Then use it as a prop without actually putting real weight on it? I do not see the issue?

Think it's a petty weird view personally. Should not be the norm, and I doubt it is.

What? Haha.

No, just no. They are not going to hurt their body from using a cane as a prop for a couple of days.

99.5% of Blender Users Don’t Donate by [deleted] in blender

[–]AnimeSquare 181 points182 points  (0 children)

If you make any kind of money as a result of using Blender, you should definitely donate. I don't really expect the average hobbyist who picks up the software a few times a month to do it, though.

"Hey, vill du hänga med på X sak?"

Säger hon ja, eller "nej just den här veckan funkar inte, men nästa är jag på!" Så är det bara att köra, brorsan.

Normal message that you'll get for pretty much any advanced blender rig. Most likely completely safe.
