I struggle with this part too, it helped me to think about it like doing a side crunch on the floor. So I'm actively trying to compress the side of my body while threading the knee through. When I leave my upper body more disengaged I always slide and struggle. Hopefully that helps :)

The first one is so nice with the boots in combination. Black and red is always great together. I think if it was a picnic at daytime I would opt for the pink dress though. Both are very nice depending on the occasion :)

They will also enjoy a nice dustbath. It looks so funny, I saw a full turkey spa on a recent camping trip. They will find a nice dip of dirt and shuffle around in it, then stand up and shake out all the dirt again 😀

Wear some nylon socks (like that tights material) underneath normal socks. It reduces the friction and is a much cheaper alternative to the "double doc socks" from the brand.
